"We are so excited to be adding these two young men to the 49er golf program," Ressa said. "The commitment they show on the golf course and in the class room will be a perfect fit for Long Beach State golf. I couldn't of found two better players to fit my system. J.J. and Xander will have an immediate impact on our program"

He embodies everything I look for in a player, he's got great character and works extremely hard in all aspects of his life. He's a great student and a tremendous young man that will represent us well."
"After watching J.J. develop his golf game over the past year, I am confident he has all the tools to impact college golf immediately," Ressa stated. "He is athletic and has the competitiveness I am looking for to help grow this program. I have no doubt J.J. will make an immediate impact this coming fall."

Xander brings a sense of confidence and poise to the program that will serve him well over his four years at Long Beach State. He has a tremendous foundation in his golf game and continues to improve each week he plays. Xander is driven to be the best player in the college golf and I love his approach to the game."
