Men's Volleyball Banquet Set For May 6

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The 2008 Long Beach State men's volleyball team will be honored on Tuesday, May 6 at its annual team banquet. The banquet will be held this year at Gladstone's in downtown Long Beach (330 South Pine Avenue).

Highlighting the banquet will be the final send-off for three 49er seniors, Fletcher Anderson, Paul Lotman and Adam Schlesinger.

The 49ers ended the season at 23-7 and advanced to the NCAA Championships. Long Beach won the 2008 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) regular season championship.
