
49ers Finish In 11th Place At Fresno State Tournament

Individually for the 49ers, after shooting a 3-under par 69 in the opening round, Lindsey McAtee finished the tournament tied for 20th as she shot a 9-over 81 in the final round for a two-day total of 150. McAtee recorded her first top-20 finish in her young 49er career. Fellow freshman Reina Rogers finished tied for 34th as she carded a 6-over 78 for the day. Katy Barrett finished tied for 62nd, followed by Kylie Kimura tied for 65th and Erin Cylke tied for 71st. Taylor Siebert of Fresno State claimed the individual championship as she finished at even-par 144.
"Again, putting issues and ball striking," said 49er Head Coach Sue Ewart. "Have a few days to right the ship before San Jose."
The 49ers are next in action as they travel up to San Jose as they take part in the Spartan Invitational on March 3-4.
