49ers Roll Past UC Riverside 7-0

RIVERSIDE - No. 38-ranked Long Beach State (5-4) cruised past conference foe UC Riverside (3-4) 7-0 on Friday afternoon. The 49ers swept through all six singles matches, in straight sets, and then posted three easy victories in doubles competition.
No. 75-ranked Hannah Grady (14-8) posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Erynne Oki at the top of the order, while Deborah Armstrong went 6-2, 6-2 over HR Espirtu at the No. 2 position. In doubles, No. 52-ranked Grady and Stephanie Bengson posted a shutout over Oki and Angelique Corpuz, 8-0.
The 49ers return home to begin a six-game home stand beginning with Saint Mary's on March 1.
