Dirtbags Announce 2007 Schedule LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State Baseball announced its 2007 tentative schedule featuring a 29-game home schedule highlighted by a three-game series with Texas, February 9 to 11, and other non-conference home series with USC, California, Oral Roberts, and Pepperdine. Last year the Dirtbags has possibly the toughest schedule in the country. The home opener will be Saturday, February 3 against the Trojans, with the non-conference series with arch rival CS Fullerton coming March 23 to 25. The Dirtbags will travel to Rice in February and to Arizona State and Wichita State in March. Big West play begins at UC Irvine on March 30 and concludes with the Titans at Goodwin Field to close out the season. The team will also host its annual alumni games on January 26 as part of alumni weekend (with the guest speaker announced later this week in regards to the Leadoff Dinner).
