Beach Still In 15th Place At UW
Hayley Wilkinson Tied For 49th Place

SEATTLE, WA-- The Long Beach State women's golf team is still in 15th place after two rounds at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at Sahalee Country Club. The 49ers shot a 341 on Tuesday after an opening round of 324 on Monday. California leads the tournament with a 591, with Arizona and UCLA right on the Golden Bears heels with a 592.

Individually, sophomore Hayley Wilkinson is tied for 49th place with a two-round total of 159 (71-88). Freshman Beth Holtermann is tied for 67th place with a 167 (80-87) along with fellow teammate Melanie Furuta (89-78). Furuta's 78 was the 49ers best score of the day. Anna Temple of Cal has the individual lead with a 142 (70-72).

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Wednesday.
