Mackenzie Raim enters her third season at the Beach working as an assistant coach with the Women’s Golf program. Raim set the bar high in her first season, helping with player development as Long Beach State claimed the Big West Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Regionals.
Raim comes to Long Beach State after an accomplished playing career at UNLV, where she was the 2018 Mountain West Conference runner-up and helped the Rebels win three straight conference team titles.
A native of Palm Desert, Calif., Raim had a terrific four-year career at UNLV. She was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West selection with the Rebels and ranked among the program’s all-time leads in rounds at par or better and career scoring average.
As the runner-up at the Mountain West Championship, Raim shot a 2-under par 214, finishing one stroke behind the winner.
A two-time Academic All-Mountain West selection, Raim won three individual tournaments during her time at UNLV.
