Michelle Erickson

Michelle Erickson enters her first year as the Director of Operations for women's basketball, where she is in charge of film, organization of camps and clinics, assistance in travel and supervising community service.
Erickson comes to the 49ers from Mater Dei High School, where she spent the last two years as the junior varsity head coach and an assistant with the varsity. Last season, she led her squad to a 26-9 overall record. She has also previously worked as an assistant coach at Mission Prep High School in San Luis Obispo and as a basketball camp instructor across the country.
In college as Michelle Henke, Erickson starred for Cal Poly, where she served as the team captain while starting at guard. Named the Big West Player of the Week after scoring 21 points against rival UC Santa Barbara as a senior, Erickson also finished her career ranked in the school's top 10 in rebounding despite standing only 5-9.
Erickson married her husband Jim in August and graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in marketing in 2006. She also earned her Master's in Sport Management from Long Beach State this February.
