2006-07 (Freshman): Primarily a backup post player, Johnson played in 28 games, starting three … averaged 11.7 minutes per game … had a career-high eight points at Pepperdine … matched that total two games later against Fairfield … in her first start she grabbed 12 rebounds at UC Santa Barbara, her first double-digit total of the year … also had two blocks and two steals in that game … had nine rebounds and four blocks in the Big West Tournament quarterfinals against Cal Poly.

High School: Johnson was a three-time Desert Valley League MVP, and earned league Player of the Year honors her senior season for Cathedral City High School… Johnson led Cathedral City High School in points per game (17) and rebounds per game (13) during her senior season as well… the 6-0 forward has been a first-team All-Desert Valley League selection, as well… A three-sport athlete for the Lions, Johnson’s track and volleyball teams were league champions in 2004… she was a two-time league MVP for volleyball.

Personal: Off the court Johnson was a member of the National Honors Society… high school activities included the varsity club, key club, and ASB Summit Council… wants to major in Journalism.
