Reset the school record in the hammer with a toss of 199-5 at the Cal/Nevada Championships (finishing third)... Was the runner-up in the hammer (186-0) at the Mt. SAC Relays ... Won the discus (162-0) and was third in the shot at the UCLA Invitational (45-1) ... Won the discus (159-3) and the hammer (178-7) at the Big West Challenge Cup ... Was third in the discus (155-1) at the Cal/Nevada Championships ...
