Outdoor: Finished seventh in the high jump (6-4 3/4) at the Big West Championships ... Tied his career high in the high jump with a leap of 6-7 1/2 at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational (7th) ... Went 6-6 3/4 at the Trojan Invite to finish fourth.
Indoor: Entered two indoor meets ... Was ninth in the high jump (6-4 3/4) at the Air Force Invitational ... Finished 19th in the high jump (6-2 3/4) at the MPSF Championships.
2018 (Sophomore): Big West Championship finalist in the high jump… Placed fifth with a clearance of 6-5 in the high jump… Finished 10th with a new career-best in the Decathlon with a score of 6,010 points… Set career-bests in the high jump, pole vault, 400m, javelin throw, and discus.
Indoor: Did not compete.
2017 (Freshman)
Outdoor: Competed in the decathlon and the high jump at the Big West Championships ... Placed seventh in the high jump, clearing 6-5 1/2 to claim seventh place and score two points for the Beach ... Placed 11th in the decathlon with a personal best result of 5,599 points ... Also set personal bests in the 100m, 400m, pole vault, shot put, discus and javelin at the Big West Championships ... Ran his best 1500m race at the UCR Spring Break Invite with a time of 5:05.31 ... Posted a personal-best mark of 20-5 3/4 in the long jump at the USC Trojan Invitational.
Indoor: Did not compete.
2016 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Long Beach State program.
High School: Won two letters in track & field at Hart High School ... Competed primarily in the high jump and hurdles ... Finished third in the 110m hurdles at the 2015 Foothill League Championships and advanced to the CIF-Southern Section Prelims ... Also placed third in the high jump and qualified for the CIF prelims as a junior ... Cleared a personal-best 6-0.
