Cameron Ford is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Long Beach State program. He assists with both the cross country program and the distance runners during the track and field season. 

A veteran runner, Ford competed with Long Beach State for four years in cross country and track and field, ultimately serving as a team captain with both programs. Following his graduation, Ford worked with Long Beach Poly High School as the head coach for the cross country while working as an assistant coach with the Trackrabbits. With Poly, Ford led his program to six consecutive league championships in cross country and, in 2021, was named the Long BeachPress-Telegram Boys and Girls High School Cross Country coach of the year.

Additionally, Ford assisted for three years in the communications and marketing department of the CIF-Southern Section in Los Alamitos. Ford graduated from Long Beach State in 2016.
