2021 (Freshman): Made 12 appearances on the mound with a pair of starts … Was 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in 16 innings of work … Best outing came against UCSB on April 23, throwing 2.2 scoreless frames surrendering just one hit while striking out four.
2020: 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic (granted extra season of eligibility) … Did not play in 2020 due to injury.
2019 (Redshirt): Pitched in 10 games and made three starts as a true freshman, posting a 5.03 ERA in 19.2 innings pitched … Had his season cut short due to injury and received a medical redshirt ... Made his first appearance in the season opener at Florida (Feb. 15), hitting a batter and recording his first career strikeout … Made his first start on Feb. 19 against San Diego and didn’t allow an earned run in five innings pitched with four punchouts … Earned his first win against Michigan (Mar. 5), tossing five innings and allowing just one unearned run with three strikeouts against the eventual national runner-up.
High School: Drafted in the 30th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers ... Was a two-time All-CIF selection for Segerstrom High School, becoming the first player in program history to earn a Division I scholarship … Helped Segerstrom to its first Golden West League Championship as a junior, winning league MVP honors to go with All-Orange Country recognition … Also played first base in addition to pitching for the Jaguars … Also played for Quakes Baseball Academy in Lake Forest.
