2014 HONORABLE MENTION ALL-CONFERENCE
2014 (Junior): Drafted in the ninth round by the Colorado Rockies with the 263rd overall pick ... earned All-Big West Honorable Mention ... began season as the Saturday starter but moved into the Friday night role in March ... started 16 games on the mound and tossed a team-high 109.2 innings ... posted a 7-2 record with a 2.05 ERA ... gave up five runs over 2.2 innings in his first start against Vanderbilt (2/15) ... limited Wright State to three hits and held it scoreless in a five inning start ... his first win came in a complete game shutout of Wichita State, limiting the Shockers to four hits and striking out nine ... struck out five and allowed three runs on four hits over seven innings to Utah Valley for his second win ... surrendered just one unearned run in a nine-inning effort against Indiana but did not get a decision as the Dirtbags lost in extras ... allowed only three hits and a pair of runs in six innings to get the win at Cal State Fullerton ... went five innings at CSUN, allowing five runs although only one was earned to improve to 4-1 ... shutout UCLA for eight innings with three Ks but did not get the decision ... had another no-decision outing at UC Davis after allowing four runs on 11 hits over 4.1 innings ... struck out five against UCSB over eight strong innings and limited the Gauchos to a single run ... struck out seven and allowed only three hits to Cal Poly and left with the game tied after seven innings ... tossed another complete game shutout to get back in the win column against Cal State Fullerton ... struck out nine and walked none in his CG SO over the Titans ... went the distance again at Hawaii (5/10) while striking out nine and limiting the Rainbow Warriors to five hits ... suffered his second loss after allowing six runs (three earned) in five innings at UC Riverside ... tossed 7.1 innings and limited UC Irvine to two runs while striking out five ... opened the postseason with a dominating 8.1 inning effort against North Carolina, allowing only one run on seven hits with two strikeouts and no walks.
