STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Madison Le suffered an injury during play in the second round of the NCAA Stanford Regional, and was forced to withdraw from the round with no score and will not continue in her final tournament.
Le qualified for the NCAA postseason as an individual after winning the Big West Championship, where she opened the tournament with a career-low 63, shooting 9-under par at the Royal Ka'anapali Course in Maui. She then went on to win the tournament wire-to-wire, earning a place as the sixth individual player to be selected for the NCAA Regionals in program history. She was the seventh Individual Medalist at the Big West Championship from Long Beach State, and finished her senior season at the Beach with the team's lowest stroke average on the season in addition to four Top 20 finishes throughout the season.
