Long Beach State Lands Multiple Selections On 2026 All-Big West Women’s Tennis Teams

Cecilia Costa earns First Team honors in singles and doubles to lead Beach recognition
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State placed multiple student-athletes on the 2026 All-Big West Women's Tennis teams, highlighted by a First Team singles selection and a First Team doubles pair.
Cecilia Costa earned All-Big West First Team honors in singles after leading the Beach with a team-best 21-12 overall record and 15-9 mark in dual play, including a 5-4 conference record. Costa primarily competed in the top of the lineup, anchoring a Long Beach State squad that finished 13-12 overall and 5-4 in Big West action.
Costa also teamed with Paulina Franco Martinessi to secure All-Big West First Team doubles recognition. The duo was one of the conference's most consistent tandems, compiling a 16-6 overall including a 5-2 record in Big West play.
In addition, Pamela Badillo represented Long Beach State on the All-Big West Honorable Mention Singles list after posting a 20-12 overall record and 14-8 dual mark, including a 5-4 record in conference competition.
