Knowles earns his first career MPSF Athlete of the Week Honor for Feb.4
LONG BEACH, Calif.- Long Beach State's Tyler Knowles was selected MPSF Male Track and Field Athlete of the week on Feb. 4.
At the New Mexico Team Open, in weight throws Knowles placed 2nd with a spectacular personal best of 19.85m (65'1 1/2") and lands him 8th All-Time in school history. His mark also ranks second in the conference and is top-70 in the nation. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Knowles.
The Beach returns to action Feb 13-14 at the Jarvis Scott Open in Lubbock, Texas. Â
