Women’s Golf Returns To Desert To Host Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic

Long Beach State’s home tournament will run for three days starting on Valentine’s Day at Monterey Country Club.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State will begin their spring tournament season with their home tournament, once again hosting the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic from Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert, Calif.
Played over three days with one round each day, the tournament will begin on Saturday, February 14, and continue until Monday, February 16. The field consists of 16 teams, with Boise State, Cal, Denver, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, UC Riverside, Vanderbilt and Washington joining the hosts.
No. 2 USC, No. 10 Vanderbilt and No. 11 UCLA lead 10 teams including Long Beach State that enter Saturday ranked in the nation's Top 100 battling it out for the championship.
The Beach began the spring season on February 1 with a dual against San Diego State, and junior Erin Lee finished as the co-champion after shooting a 2-under par 70 from The Grand Golf Club, and she will lead the lineup for the Beach.
Freshman Kailey Yoon was also under par against the Aztecs and will play second for Long Beach State, while Beach veteran Madison Le will play third. Junior transfer Emma Kang will play fourth. The trio of Kang, Le and Lee are leading the Beach in stroke average so far in 2025-26.
Junior transfer Alyson Sor will play fifth, as she rejoins the lineup after playing as an individual in the San Diego State dual. Freshman Chloe Park will play as an individual.
