Sor’s final round pushed her into the Top 20 alongside Kylie Phi for Long Beach State.
DENVER, Colo. – Senior Alyson Sor matched the best round of her career at Long Beach State, a four-under par to finish the Ron Moore Intercollegiate.
Final Results
Sor had five birdies with just one bogey to climb into the Top 20 at the tournament. She shared a tie for 19th place with junior Kylie Phi, who continued her consistent play with an even par 72 to also finish the third round at +1 for the tournament.
Freshman Lavinia Bürger shot a second consecutive 75, one stroke better than senior Erin Lee who closed the tournament with a 76 to tie for 31st overall. Sophomore Kailey Yoon had the day's drop score, finishing in a tie for 38th among the 85-golfer field.
The Beach finished the tournament in seventh place among the 15 teams, getting passed by the hosts Denver on the final day but finishing in front of Colorado, Oregon State and former conference opponent Hawai'i among others.
Long Beach State wraps fall competition October 19-21, taking part in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by Hawai'i at Ocean Course Hokuala on Kaua'i.
