Logan King Claims Fifth Big West Freshman Of The Week Honor

King averaged 3.80 kills and 2.30 digs per set last week for the Beach.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Once again Long Beach State's Logan King was named the Big West Freshman of the Week, as the young standout earned the award for the fifth time this season continuing her outstanding first season at the Beach.
King finished the week with 38 kills and 23 digs across two matches in two excellent back-to-back performances. Despite a team loss on the road at CSUN, King was fantastic for Long Beach State, matching a career high with 21 kills on .581 hitting with three blocks.
The redshirt freshman then helped key Long Beach State's comeback win in five sets over Cal State Bakersfield, finishing with a double-double with 17 kills and 17 digs in an all-around showcase.
King was recognized in back-to-back weeks to start the season, and has now won the award in three of the last four week.
