Long Beach State in sixth-place midway through the second round, 13-under par.
CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. – Long Beach State Men's Golf finished the first of two days of competition at the Cal Poly Invitational, 13-under par midway through the second round as a team as play was halted due to darkness at The Preserve.
Day One Results
Krishnav Chopraa led the Beach through the first round, hitting a pair of eagles on the way to a 4-under par 68, matching his best round of the season so far. Jack Cantlay, Steen Zeman and Alejandro de Castro Piera all also finished the opening round under par.
Senior Jaden Huggins is having a strong start to the second round, recording five birdies through 13 holes.
Long Beach State and the rest of the teams will finish the remainder of the second round to begin Tuesday's action, and then are scheduled to complete the final round. Live scoring will be available at https://scoreboard.clippd.com/tournaments/238648/scoring/team.
