Angelina Kim, Madison Le Named WGCA All-American Scholars For Second Straight Year

The duo claimed more academic honors following an outstanding 2023-24 season.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Senior Angelina Kim and sophomore Madison Le were both named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), recognizing their outstanding work in the classroom.

The WGCA's annual academic has some of the most stringent criteria among coaches' association awards, recognizing both a high level of academic achievement in addition to consistent participation throughout a season. In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must meet participation minimums for the season as well as hold a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.50 or higher.

A Marketing major, Angelina Kim was a May graduate from Long Beach State while Madison Le is a sophomore Public Relations major. The duo were both part of the lineup that captured the Big West title for just the fourth time in program history, and both were named WGCA All-American Scholars for the second consecutive year.
