Clay Seeber Named Big West Men’s Golfer Of The Month

Senior Clay Seeber was Long Beach State’s top finisher in both tournaments during the month of September
IRVINE, Calif. – Long Beach State's Clay Seeber made his return to the green after nearly two years and came out strong, earning Big West Men's Golfer of the Month honors for the first time in his career.
The senior from Newport Beach, Calif., kicked off the 2023-24 season at the Ram Masters Invitational where he shot a 70-68-68 for a 206, 4-under par performance to tie for second place. His strong showing helped Long Beach State capture the tournament title as the Beach finished 15-under par and 11 strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.
Seeber returned to action at the William Tucker Intercollegiate and was the Beach's top finisher as he fired a 70-72-66 for a 208, 8-under par to tie for seventh place. His third-round 66 tied his career-best from two seasons prior. Seeber's performance led Long Beach State to a sixth-place performance as the Beach shot 9-under par and were the top finisher among Big West competition.
On the season, Seeber is leading the Beach with a 70.11 stroke average through three tournaments.
