Indoor Capacity For Long Beach State Games Temporarily Limited

The temporary restriction will apply for the seven home events scheduled between January 20 and February 3.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Athletics will impose a temporary limit on attendance for indoor events inside of the Walter Pyramid for a two-week period from January 20 to February 3.
This move has been taken to align with the latest California state guidance regarding indoor live events.
Attendance within the building will be limited to 1,000. Entrance priority will be granted to season-ticket holders, as well as students who will continue to be granted entry. Men's volleyball season tickets are still available and can be purchased by clicking here.
Students now will be required to reserve a ticket in advance; please sign in via the STUDENT TICKET PORTAL, with an option to purchase a guest ticket as well.
Team pass lists will continue to be honored for the families and friends of student-athletes and coaches, and for Men's and Women's Basketball, an extremely limited number of tickets will be sold in advance.
Over this period no single-game tickets for Men's Volleyball will be sold, and there will be no single-game tickets sold on the day of game.
Some additional gameday changes will also be made:
At the end of the two-week period, the policy will be re-evaluated in regards to public safety alongside COVID-19 trends.

- Mask requirements will be upgraded to surgical, KN95 or N95 masks for all individuals aged 2 or older.
- Cloth masks, bandanas and neck gaiters will not be permitted.
- If necessary, masks will be provided by LBSU Athletics.
- Concessions will be served in designated eating and drinking areas.
- Outside food will not be permitted; only closed water bottles are allowed.
- Stadium gates will open 60 minutes prior to the game.
- LBSU Athletics Clear Bag policy will continue to be enforced.
- Courtside seats will be removed; anyone with tickets in that area will be relocated to the best available location.
At the end of the two-week period, the policy will be re-evaluated in regards to public safety alongside COVID-19 trends.
