LBSU Men’s Golf Wraps Up First Round Action at El Macero Classic

The Beach sit in sixth place, while Clay Seeber leads the way with an even-72
EL MACERO, Calif. – After the first round at El Macero Classic, Long Beach State is in sixth place as the Beach are shooting 4-over par after 18 holes.
St. Mary's is at the top of the leaderboard with a 10-under par, while UC Davis is in second place with 6-under par, and Pacific is in third with 4-under. Rounding out the top five are San Francisco (3-under) and Fresno State (2-over) for fourth and fifth-place, respectively.
The Beach are the second team among Big West schools and are just two strokes out of the top five.
Clay Seeber is leading Long Beach State with an even-par 72 to tie for 13th place. Seeber collected four birdies during the first round, but broke even after tallying four bogies.
Hunter Epson and Tyler Schafer are tied for 24th place as both of them are 1-over par at the end of the first round.
Long Beach State will continue action in the second round on Sunday, April 11 at El Macero Country Club. Fans can follow all the action via GolfStat.com.
