LBSU Beach Volleyball Announces 2021 Schedule

The pre-season No. 16 ranked Beach will play a total of 25 matches in 2021, including nine at the LBSU Sand Courts
LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach State Beach Volleyball team is slated for 25 matches in the 2021 season with eight of them happening on the LBSU Sand Courts. Fourteen of the matches will be against pre-season ranked teams, 12 of which are top 10 programs.
The season begins with a five-match homestand starting with No. 2 UCLA on February 25 at 1:00 p.m. The next day, the No. 16 ranked Beach hosts a pair of matches against No. 19 Stanford before hosting their first tri-dual on March 4 with Vanguard and No. Loyola Marymount.
The Beach plays four ranked matches on the road before returning home for a tri-dual with Boise State and Utah.
The following weekend is the opening of conference play for Long Beach State as they head to Cal Poly for five matches against Big West opponents, including back-to-back matchups against No. 6 Cal Poly and No. 5 Hawaii.
LBSU makes their only trip out of California heading to Hawaii for two matches on April 2-3 before returning to the states to host Pepperdine for their final home match of the 2021 season.
Long Beach State closes out the year with four matches across two separate weekends up in Northridge, Calif.
