Long Beach State Men’s Golf Continues Action in the Second Round at the St. Mary’s Invitational

Freshman Ian Gilligan is the leader for the Beach with a 3-over par showing
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – The second round of the St. Mary's Invitational wrapped up on Tuesday at Poppy Hills Golf Course and Long Beach State stayed in the 15th spot as the Beach were 13-over par. Freshman Ian Gilligan continues to lead the Beach as he owns a top 25 showing after 36 holes.
No. 6 Stanford continued to hold the top spot on the leaderboard with a 19-under par, while Oregon is in second place with 12-under.
Gilligan continues to lead the Beach despite finishing 3-over par in the second round to bring his total to 142 for even with par. Jack Ainscough shot even with par in the second round to finish the first two rounds 1-over par for a top 30 finish.
Long Beach State will conclude the St. Mary's Invitational on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Live scoring will be available via GolfStat.com.
