No. 16 Long Beach State Sweeps Tuesday Morning Tri-Dual

LBSU picks up wins against Utah and Irvine Valley.
IRVINE, Calif.—Long Beach State (5-4) swept Utah (1-9) and Irvine Valley College Tuesday morning in Irvine, Calif. in a tri-dual hosted by the Lasers.
LBSU started Tuesday morning off against University of Utah, picking up wins on all five courts. The No. 1 pairing of Junior Mari Molina and Senior Tyler Spriggs continue to dominate with a 21-14, 21-5 victory over Lauren Sproule and Jessica Villela.
Long Beach State also won an exhibition against the hosts Irvine Valley College with a 5-0 sweep. All five pairs dominated in two sets each to close out the rainy day.
The Beach will be back in action on March 18, in a tri-dual against Georgia State and No. 8 LMU at the LBSU Sand Courts. Live Stats will be available on BeachLiveStats.com.
