LBSU Men’s Golf Resumes the 2019-20 Season at Arizona Intercollegiate

The Beach will be back on the green on Monday
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Following a successful Fall Season, the Long Beach State Men's Golf team will get the Spring Season started on Monday, January 27 at the Arizona Intercollegiate at the Sewalio Golf Course in Tucson, Ariz.
The Beach will send seniors Hunter Epson and Hunter Reed, along with sophomore Bryce Kvick, and freshmen Owen Avrit and Clay Seeber into action in the 54-hole tournament. Long Beach State will play the first and second rounds on Monday and conclude the Arizona Intercollegiate on Tuesday, January 28 with the final 18-holes.
Long Beach State wrapped up the Fall Season with a pair of second-place finishes followed by two fifth-place showings. Epson had a strong showing at the Nick Watney Invitational as he won the tournament en route to being named Big West Men's Golfer of the Month.
Additionally, Avrit was a co-medalist in a four-way tie for first at the Husky Invitational in his collegiate debut.
Following the Arizona Intercollegiate, the Beach will be back in action again February 20-22 at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawaii.
