Bria Palmer Earns Honorable Mention All-America Honors at the NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Tex. – Long Beach State's senior Bria Palmer was the final student-athlete to compete at the 2019 NCAA Track & Field Championships in Austin Texas. Palmer earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in the women's high jump.
Palmer competed exclusively in the women's high jump, claiming 19th place overall with a solid jump of 1.75 (5-08.75) to become a second team All-American.
The senior qualified for the NCAA Championships after having an outstanding performance and personal-best jump of 1.80m (5-10.75) in the West Preliminary rounds in Sacramento.
Palmer has had a successful season, winning five events this season and also becoming athlete of the week.
