Nearly $300,000 was raised in support of Long Beach State student-athletes.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State is excited to announce that the final accounting is in from the year-end giving campaign from 2018, and nearly $300,000 was raised in support of student-athlete scholarships.
With an initial goal to raise the value of six in-state scholarships, just under $20,000 each, for Long Beach State's student-athletes, the year-end giving campaign ran through the month of December.

Over that month, Long Beach State's Beach Athletic Fund members once again showed their incredible support and enthusiasm for Beach Athletics, ultimately raising over $297,000 dollars. That amount covers the cost of 15 scholarships for Long Beach State student-athletes.
?"Our Beach Athletic Fund members are incredible!" said Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director Rob Clark. "We are so grateful for the generous support from our members that sincerely seek to better the lives of our student-athletes through their support."
