FIRST TEE
The Long Beach State men's golf team returns to action for their second tournament of the spring season, taking part in the Folino Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton. The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Monday, Feb. 15 with first and second round action, followed by the final 18 holes concluding on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Both days will begin with a 7:30 a.m. (PST) shotgun start.
FOLINO FIELD
LBSU will be among a 10-team field at this year's Folino Invitational. The 49ers will compete with Cal State Fullerton, Cal Baptist, Bakersfield, Grand Canyon, Loyola-Chicago, Samford, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and Utah Valley.
49ERS STARTING FIVE + ONE
Seniors Michael Chen, Daniel Chian and Kevin Lee, junior Jonny Hogan and freshman Patrick Pockels will represent the 49ers at the Folino Invitational. Junior Tanner Dice will be playing as an individual for LBSU.

LBSU comes in at No. 104 in the lastest Golfweek/Sagarin ratings and 108th in Golfstat.
LAST TIME OUT
The 49ers are coming off from a sixth-place finish at the season-opening 14-team LMU Invitational in Henderson, Nev. LBSU posted a three-round score of 26-over-par 890 after recording rounds of 302, 297 and 294. Senior Kevin Lee led the way for the 49ers, tying for 13th with a two-over 218 (75-72-71).
49ERS HOST 20TH DEL WALKER INTERCOLLEGIATE
LBSU is set to host the 20th edition of the Del Walker Intercollegiate Golf Classic, Feb. 29-Mar. 1, at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach. The 49ers will be among an 11-team field that features Cal Poly, CSUN, Cal State Fullerton, Loyola Marymount, Pacific, Redlands, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara and Wichita State.
BIG WEST CHAMPIONSHIP HEADS TO SIMI VALLEY
The 2016 Big West Conference Men's Golf Championship heads to Simi Valley as the three-day tournament will take place at the Wood Ranch Country Club, May 2-4 hosted by CSUN.
