Women's Basketball Visits Miller Children's Hospital

Members of the Long Beach State women's basketball team visited Miller Children's Hospital on Friday.

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State women's basketball team visited Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach on Friday morning.

The 49ers spent time playing games and interacting with the children. The team also made bedside visits where they were able to meet and talk to the patients and their families.

Miller Children's Hospital provides specialized pediatric care for children and young adults, with conditions ranging from common to complex. It is a not-for-profit pediatric teaching hospital that treats more than 8,000 children each year.
