
Unden and Rozenberg Move On in Thrilling Doubles Win

LOS ANGELES - No. 59 Ebba Unden and Karolina Rozenberg advanced on to the second round of the 2013 Riveria/ITA Women's All-American Championships in heart-pumping action.
The pair led DePaul University's Ana Vladutu and Jasmin King 7-4, before falling in three straight games to put the match in a tiebreaker. There, it didn't get any easier as Vladutu and King went up 5-0 early. Unden and Rozenberg found a way to fight back, knocking off seven straight points to win the tiebreak and the match 8-7 (7-5).
With the win, the duo moves one step closer to advancing to the qualifying round of the tournament. Their next opponents are Franziska Goettsching and Sarah Gong from UC-Irvine, who moved on with their win over Despoina Vogasari and Maria Andrea Caredenas of the University of Houston. The match-up will take place tomorrow at noon at the Los Angeles Tennis Center on the campus of UCLA.
In singles action, Unden faced No. 89 Mai El Kamash of Ole Miss and fell in another hard-fought match as the she came up just short, 6-3, 6-4.
