No. 16 49ers will appear on national TV on Friday against Texas A&M

LONG BEACH - The 16th-ranked Long Beach State women's soccer game at No. 14 Texas A&M this Friday will be televised nationally on FOX Soccer on a tape delayed basis at 8 p.m. (PST) The game will kick off at 5 p.m.
The Texas A&M game was selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as the College Game of the Week after good starts by both teams.
This will be the second time LBSU has been shown on national TV as the 49ers were showcased in 2006 against Cal State Fullerton in the NSCAA Game of the Week.
Both teams are 4-1 with the 49ers defeating Michigan,2-1 on Sunday at George Allen Field to extend their home winning streak to 11 games. Texas A&M won 1-0 over Saint Mary's on Sunday in College Station, Texas.
The will be the first meeting between the two schools. LBSU played two games in College Station in 2010, taking part in the Aggieland Invitational defeating Virginia Tech and Washington State.
