SAMMAMISH, Wash. - After two rounds of play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Long Beach State currently sits in 10th place after recording a 34-over par 322 at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
LBSU currently has a 36-hole score of 56-over 632 as the 49ers are six strokes behind No. 46 Gonzaga (+50) in ninth.
Tournament host and No. 6 Washington led the field of 16 teams for the second straight day as the Huskies (+10) holds an eight shot lead over No. 7 UC Davis (+18) in second and 17 strokes over UC Irvine (+27) in third.
Senior Simone Hoey and freshman Shawnee Martinez are tied for 30th at 11-over 155. Hoey carded an 80 for the second round while Martinez finished the day with a 78.
Freshman Kassidy Teare is tied for 56th after shooting an 81 and junior Rochelle Chan is tied for 63rd after carding an 83.
Sophomore Chaewon Park is tied for 67th (87).
SooBin Kim of Washington sits on top of the leaderboard with a 6-under as she leads by six strokes over two players tied for second.
Final round play concludes on Wednesday with the 49ers scheduled to tee of at 9:15 a.m. from the 10th tee. LBSU will be paired with Gonaga, San Diego State and Fresno State.
