LBSU to host fall tournament Saturday

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach State men's volleyball team will host its annual fall tournament this weekend in the Gold Mine. LBSU will entertain four other teams with action starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishing with matches at 3:30 p.m.
The 49ers open the tournament at 8:30 a.m. when they play Stanford. They will follow with a game against Cal Baptist at 10:00 a.m. In the afternoon session, LBSU tangles with UC Santa Barbara at 2 p.m. and then faces UC San Diego at 3:30 p.m. All four Long Beach State matches will be played in the West Gym, as will the 12:30 p.m. match between UC Santa Barbara and Stanford.
In the East Gym, action starts at 8 a.m. with UCSD and UCSB meeting before Stanford and UCSD face off at 10 a.m. Following lunch, Cal Baptist and UC San Diego play at 12:30 p.m., Stanford meets Cal Baptist at 2 p.m. and UC Santa Barbara and Cal Baptist play at 3:30 p.m.
