The Long Beach State men's volleyball team opens its season Friday and Saturday when the 49ers play in the Elephant Bar Restaurant Collegiate Invitational at UC Santa Barbara. LBSU opens the tournament against UC Irvine at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and then plays a second-round match at 7:00 p.m. Friday night. The tournament wraps up Saturday with one match.
