Bullock opened up the scoring in the 21st minute, taking a pass from Kristen Kiefer to make it 1-0. Bullock finished off the scoring in the 61st minute, taking a tally from Mariko Strickland and doubling the score for the 49ers.

Arizona was ranked eighth in the region and were riding a four match winning streak prior to the loss to the 49ers, in the first meeting between the two programs. Arizona was also ranked just outside the top-30 entering the week.

The Beach travels to Arizona State for a contest on Sunday to close out a four-match road trip. LBSU opens up Big West play on October 3 against UC Davis at home.
