49er Athletics Partner Timmons VW To Host Toy Jam

Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State Athletics Partner Timmons VW in Long Beach has come together once again to hold the Toy Jam, a toy drive to benefit Millers Children Hospital.

Timmons VW, along with the So Cal New Beetle Club has teamed up with Millers Children Hospital to bring together Toy Jam 7, an annual toy drive to benefit the kids at the hospital. This year's event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 beginning at 9 a.m. There will be free coffee, soft drinks and a continental breakfast served in the morning while Timmons VW holds a number of raffles. Following breakfast and the drawing, a parade of cars led by a police escort will head through the streets of Long Beach to Millers Children Hospital.

Participants are welcomed to bring a new unwrapped toy for the collection, but is not required to attend the event.
