Hoey Named 2nd Team All-American DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The National Golf Coaches Association announced the 2006-07 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division I Women’s College Golf. Winners were recognized at the NGCA Division I Awards Banquet held in Daytona Beach, Florida on Friday evening, May 25. Long Beach State junior Kay Hoey was selected as a second team NGCA All-American. Hoey is the 2007 Big West Conference Player of the Year and she advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second time as an individual. As a freshman in 2005 she earned a trip to Nationals while being selected a second team All-American as well.
