Hoey Ties For 46th Place At NCAA's
Junior Shoots A 2-Over 74 On Friday

DAYTONA BEACH, FL-- Long Beach State's Kay Hoey shot a two-over 74 in Friday's fourth and final round of the 2007 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at the LPGA International Legends Course in Daytona Beach, FL. Hoey tied for 46th place and improved her score each day. Overall Hoey finished at 16-over for the tournament with a 305 (79-77-75-74). Overall medalist honors went to Arkansas' Stacy Lewis who shot a six-under 282 (71-71-74-66).

On the team front, Duke won the team title with an 1170, followed by Purdue (1185) and UCLA (1186). UC Irvine finished in 19th place with a 1241.
