Freshmen Have Strong Debut at Ben Brown

Strong Freshmen Debut for the 49ers March 11, 2006 FULLERTON, CA-- Long Beach State track and field saw strong debuts from its freshman distance class in the first outdoor meet of the season as Kristina Wilson, Dylan Jaedtke and Robyn Guggiana were three of the four conference qualifiers at a dried out Ben Brown Invitational on Saturday. The trio were a handful of 49ers at the team's second outdoor meet of the season, as the team's full debut was postponed due to the weather. Wilson (17:44), Danielle Miller (17:58) and Guggiana (18:02) were all Big West qualifiers in the 5000-meter in their first meets of the season, while Jaedtke (14:57) was a conference qualifier on the men's side. |
