Gläser was just one of four 49ers who put forth career-nights, as Candice Wilson tied her personal-best with 22 points, while Crystal McCutcheon grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds along with her nine points. Lauren Bull tied her personal-high 10 rebounds set two nights ago at Utah State. The Beach shot 42% for the contest. Gläser would score four points in overtime, including the basket which sealed the victory, at 68-63. LBSU shot 4-of-7 in the extra frame after coming back from four down at halftime to tie it at 58-58. Candice Wilson's layup with 13 seconds left in regulation tied it, giving Idaho the final opportunity to win it. Heather Thoelke though would miss a jumper at the buzzer, sending the game into overtime. LBSU used an 11-4 run over the final seven minutes to force overtime. The 49ers return home for the final two games of the regular season when they host Cal Poly on Senior Night in The Pyramid on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., before hosting Big West Champion UC Santa Barbara on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in The Gold Mine. |
