49ers Off To A Slow Start At UW

SEATTLE, WA-- The Long Beach State women's golf team got off to a slow start after one round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at Sahalee Country Club. The Beach is in 15th place with a 324 round one total. California leads the team competition with a 285.

Individually, sophomore Hayley Wilkinson is tied for 4th place with a one-under-par 71. Freshman Beth Holtermann is tied for 49th place with an eight-over-par 80. Cal's Sohie Anderson leads the individual race after shooting a three-under-par 69.

The tournament continues with 18 holes on Tuesday and concludes with 18 on Wednesday.
