| 49ERS HEAD TO UTAH STATE
Track and Field to Compete at Utah State Quadrangular LONG BEACH, CA-- The full track and field team will head to Utah State this weekend to compete at the Utah State Quadrangular. The competing teams include Utah State, Long Beach State, Southern Utah, University of Utah, and the UNLV women's team. "This is our first chance to see where we stand," said Head Coach Andy Sythe. " Our main goal in Utah is to qualify athletes for the conference championships, as well as see who is ready to compete at the national level." The women's team will look to Emily Forsythe (high jump), Serena Boykin (throws), Stephanie Sampson (throws), Jenny Yadon (distance), Meghan Atkinson (sprints), Charlene Deardorff (sprints), and Jessica Williams (sprints) to return with top qualifying marks. On the men's side, Matt Bates (distance), Cory Loebl (throws), Haben Hagos (jumps), Jamaal James (sprints) and Jason Dolison (sprints) will lead the team. Newcomers Adrian Ruark (pole vault), Brady Douglas (sprints) and Michael Dickran (sprints) will look to make an immediate impact for the team.
