Donna Prindle

Along with her sister, Jeanine, Prindle was an integral member of the 1971 and 1972 Forty-Niner volleyball teams that were national powers. The 49ers finished second in the AIAW National Tournament in 1971, then came back to win the event when the Prindles were seniors. Also a starter in basketball, Donna was on 49er teams that finished second in the AIAW Wester Regionals in 1972 and 1973. The two basketball teams also advanced to the Nationals, finishing seventh (1972) and fifth (1973). After graduating from Long Beach State, Donna began a distinguished career as a coach and educator at Long Beach City College, she coached basketball, volleyball and softball.
