2015 Big West All-Freshman
2015 (Freshman): Big West All-Freshman Team selection ... Played primarily as an opposite after coming to the Beach as a middle blocker ... Started 24 matches, playing 84 sets ... Was third on the team with a .308 hitting percentage, averaged 2.38 kills per set and 0.54 blocks per set ... Started the season opener vs .Alabama (Aug. 28) ... Notched her first double-digit kills performance vs. Rutgers (Sep. 5) with 13 ... Had season-best 5.0 blocks in consecutive matches at LMU (Sep. 10) and vs. Oakland (Sep. 11) ... Also added a pair of aces in the LMU match ... Recorded six straight matches with 10+ kills from Oct. 24-Nov. 13 ... Took a career high 39 swings vs. Cal Poly, recording 13 kills to go with a season-high seven digs, five blocks and four assists ... Had 11 kills on 20 swings with one error to hit .500 at UC Davis (Oct. 31), adding five assists in the win ... Hit a season-best .533 in the final match vs. Denver (Nov. 28) putting down eight kills on 15 swings without an error ... Had 28 kills and just one error in the final three matches of the season.
High School: A two-time All-CIF selection and two-time Century League MVP for Villa Park High School … named the Orange City News Athlete of the Year … also a two-time All-Orange County honoree … led Villa Park to its first-ever Century League title in 2013 and a second consecutive title in 2014 … led her team to the semifinals of the Division 1A CIF-Southern Section playoffs in 2014 – the deepest run in school history – after leading it to the second round in 2013 … led all of Orange County with 496 kills in 2014.
Personal: Comes from athletic background as her dad, Mike, played professional baseball and was the Head Baseball Coach at Concordia University.
