Anthony Wong-Orantes

Anthony Wong-Orantes has returned to the Beach to assist the Long Beach State Women's Volleyball coaching staff beginning with the 2023 campaign.
A National Champion as part of the 2018 Men's Volleyball team at Long Beach State, Wong-Orantes stayed heavily involved in the game, working as an official first and then turning to coaching immediately following his graduation from Long Beach State. Working first at the club level with Mizuno Long Beach and then Team Rockstar in Gardena, Wong-Orantes joined the high school coaching ranks in the local area at Los Alamitos High School.
With the Griffins, Wong-Orantes has worked with both the boy's and girl's programs, serving as the freshman head coach with both and progressively earning more responsibility, including leading the boy's varsity program as the head coach in 2022-23.
