Erick [quote]Mizzy[quote] Miseroy enters his second year at Long Beach State after joining the 49ers[apos] coaching staff in July 2012. Miseroy works primarily with the goalkeepers.
Miseroy is familiar with LBSU as he was an assistant under former head coach Peter Reynaud in 2003.
Last year, Miseroy mentored redshirt freshman Marrina Meyers, who posted 78 saves, a 1.16 goals against average and six shutouts. As a team, the 49ers made their third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and finished with a 12-8-0 overall record.
Miseroy was a four-year letterwinner at Cal State Dominguez Hills (1990-93). In 1997, he returned to CSUDH to assist the Toros[apos] men[apos]s and women[apos]s soccer programs and helped the men[apos]s team capture the 2000 NCAA Division II National Championship.
The Granada Hills native currently serves as the IT coordinator at Port of Los Angeles High School in San Pedro where he also teaches PhotoShop and 3D modeling/animation courses. Previously, he taught computer applications and web design at North High School in Torrance. While at North High, he coached the girls[apos] soccer program for 13 seasons (1993-2006). Miseroy also recently served as the goalkeeper coach for the U15 Girls[apos] U.S. National Team.
Miseroy resides in Torrance with his wife, Janice, and their twin daughters, Mia and Bella.
